Emergency Ring Group
NOTE: Local Notification for Emergency Ring Groups applies only to calls that arrive to the group from an outgoing emergency route (as designated in the ARS Routes form).
Emergency Call Notification hunt group (as designated in the Hunt Groups form)
ONS CLASS/CLIP sets should support the following features (at least the first three) in order to access and present the complete emergency call information supplied by the system:
Caller Name Identity (CNAM) - minimum requirement in order to receive Emergency Call Notification
Caller Number Identity (CND)
Calling Identity Delivery on Call Waiting (CIDCW)
three 3 display lines (caller name or emergency call information; calling number; Date/time)
display scrolling if the display size is less than 15 characters
call logging.
The visual alarm must be enabled in the attendant or display-set COS in order to enable the audio alarm.
NOTE: Once the visual alarm is enabled, the audio alarm cannot be disabled.
IP display sets, ONS CLASS/CLIP sets, and SIP sets must be programmed to receive Local Notification in the Hunt Groups form.
By default, prime members of Personal Ring Group (PRG) and Multi-device User Group (MdUG) DNs if included in Emergency Hunt Groups will receive notification. Non-prime members of a PRG will receive notification only if explicitly added to the Emergency Hunt Group.
NOTE: MdUG does not support non-prime members.
COS option Non-Prime Public Network Identity of the set making the emergency call has no effect (for example, if an emergency call is made from a key line, the information presented to the designated attendant, IP display set, or CLASS/CLIP set will be that of the prime line and not the key line).
ACD-enabled sets cannot be used for Emergency Notification.
If an emergency call is placed while the system is in System Lock license violation mode, the Local Notification devices will receive an audible and visual alarm that will persist until the System Lock condition is resolved.
Camp-on tone is not presented when an emergency call is made to SIP or Analog-FXS sets in busy state.
